💬 Sample Phrases — Phase 1 In-Clinic Use

These are suggested scripts to help staff introduce coMra therapy consistently and confidently. Adapt to your own style of communication.

Doctor (Introduction)

Purpose: Frame coMra as part of the care plan.

  • “Alongside the treatments we’re already doing, we also use coMra therapy in our clinic. It’s non-invasive, safe, and supports the optic nerve.”
  • “This helps protect vision and can make patients more comfortable while we manage the underlying condition.”
  • “If you’d like to try it, our therapist will show you how it works.”

Vision Therapist / Clinical Staff (Demonstration)

Purpose: Reinforce safety, show what to expect.

  • “This is the same device we use here in the clinic. It sits gently over your closed eyelids.”
  • “During the session you’ll notice a blinking light with your eyes closed — that’s normal. There’s no pain, pressure, or heat.”
  • “Each session only takes a few minutes, and I’ll make sure you’re comfortable the whole time.”

Admin Staff (Logistics & Follow-Up)

Purpose: Organize sessions and reassure.

  • “The doctor has recommended coMra therapy as part of your care. I’ll help schedule your sessions.”
  • “Each appointment is quick and easy — we’ll keep it coordinated with your other visits.”
  • “If you have questions at any point, just let us know and we’ll make sure the doctor or therapist follows up.”

Notes

  • Keep explanations simple and consistent.
  • Defer detailed medical questions back to the doctor.
  • Use patient cards and consent forms as supporting tools.
