🔄 Clinic Flowchart (Quick Reference) — Phase 1 Workflow

Purpose: Provide a clear, reproducible sequence for Phase 1 coMra therapy in clinic.
This complements the Clinical Implementation Brief by showing the step-by-step actions staff should follow.


Patient Journey

  1. Doctor introduces therapy → frames it as adjunctive, safe, supportive.
  2. VT / staff demonstrates device placement → closed eyelids, blinking light expected.
  3. Patient receives materials → card, consent form, brief if requested.
  4. Session delivered → 5–20 min, staff supervised.
  5. Follow-up → doctor reviews progress, staff schedule next sessions.

Staff Workflow (VT / Clinical Staff)

Prep

  • Confirm patient & protocol.
  • Verify consent.
  • Clean terminals; prep chair.

Delivery

  • Position device (contact / hover).
  • Run protocol.
  • Monitor comfort.

Completion

  • End session; clean device.
  • Ask patient for feedback.

Document

  • Record date, eye(s), protocol, duration, notes.
  • Flag concerns to OD/MD.

Communication Roles

  • Doctor → Recommend + oversee.
  • Vision Therapist / Tech → Deliver + document.
  • Front Desk / Admin → Schedule + coordinate.
