Caring for Your Eyes with Glaucoma Using coMra Therapy

What You Need to Know
coMra therapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment used to support eye health in people with glaucoma. It does not cut, burn, or heat. Instead, it uses low-intensity light, sound waves (ultrasound), and magnetic stimulation that work together to support blood flow, cellular repair, and the health of the optic nerve.

Why We Use It Here

  • Helps protect optic nerve fibers from ongoing damage.
  • Supports circulation and nutrient delivery within the eye.
  • Works alongside pressure-lowering treatments (drops, laser, or surgery).
  • May assist the body’s own pressure-regulating systems while reducing strain on the optic nerve.

What to Expect
You will not feel pain, heat, or pressure. During the session, you may notice a gentle blinking light through your eyelids — this is normal. Treatments are quiet, comfortable, and completed in just a few minutes over your closed eyes.

Tailoring & Safety
Your doctor will adjust the treatment protocol to match your needs. In early glaucoma, the focus may be on protecting and stabilizing nerve function. In more advanced cases, treatment may help ease strain and preserve the remaining vision.

Your Role

  • Attend your sessions as advised.
  • Continue any prescribed drops or procedures — coMra therapy is used alongside your regular glaucoma care.
  • Share any changes you notice in your vision or comfort.
  • Ask questions—we want you and your family to feel confident in the care you receive.
